Taxi Stand

Enjoying the (relatively) warm temperatures today, I wandered around downcity this morning in search of interesting photo opportunities. The melting snow and ice coated the roads with a very photogenic sheen of melt-water. This taxi stand was a perfect subject with the Rhode Island State House in the background, wispy clouds in the sky, and the Providence Train Station off to the left. When the cabbie in the foreground started to clean his floor mats, I knew I had a photo-worthy scene.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, and boost white. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
