Glacial Boulder
Okay, I'm officially ready for spring. We received some more snow overnight and this morning. At once point it was snowing to the rate of 2 inches per hour. To capture the "beauty" of this fresh snowfall, I headed to Lincoln Woods State Park. This huge glacial boulder was covered in the white stuff and thought it would make a nice subject for today. You'll notice that the boulder is split in half. That is the result of an earthquake that struck this area sometime after the end of the last glacial age (about 10,000 years ago in this area.)
