kannafoot > May 18, 2009More RainContinuing the flower theme for one more day, I took advantage of the rain on my white azalea bush to capture today's shot. Hopefully we'll have some mountain shots for the next couple of days since I'm heading up to New Hampshire this afternoon to do some hiking.AzaleaNorth Providence, Rhode Island
kannafoot > May 15, 2009Rain on the MapleThere was a light rain falling when I left for work today so I decided to take a shot of the raindrops on my Japanese maple tree.Japanese MapleNorth Providence, Rhode Island
kannafoot > March 29, 2009Purple RainToday's weather was absolutely miserable. The rain was pretty steady, and the sky was as bland as it can be. For today's photo, I took a drive through the North Burial Ground hoping for opportunities. There was a fresh grave covered with flowers, so a macro shot became the order of the day.North Burial GroundProvidence, Rhode Island
kannafoot > March 9, 2009Raindrop ReflectionsThe weather turned miserable today. It was a comfortable 60 degrees yesterday, but today it dropped to the low 30s and we had some snow squalls all afternoon. When I pulled into my driveway, I noticed a line of raindrops on the branches of my maple tree and decided they would make a nice macro shot. What surprised me in the post processing, though, were the reflections of the branches in the raindrops. That was a nice added surprise and it's what convinced me to keep this as the photo-a-day shot.Japanese Red MapleNorth Providence, Rhode Island
